Hi all! I finished my revision of The Road Between and am very happy with it. I start pitching that story this weekend at the Colorado Gold Conference and can't wait to see how it's received by agents and editors.
I'm working diligently on lining up fantastic final judges for The 2008 Sandy-- www.thesandy.com. I'm also helping with The Crested Butte Writers Conference that NY Times best selling author, and friend, Susan Wiggs, will attend June 20-22 2008, so mark your calendars and come on up into the mountains!

January 2007

In between working on a revision of The Road Between, I've been helping with the Crested Butte Writers Conference, working on The Sandy Writing Contest for unpublished authors, and coordinating a silent auction for the CRW May 2008 Conference.

I've also added a new link, The Writers Corner, to my website. The writing process is a very complex business and there is much to assimilate, so I thought I'd share tidbits about things I've learned through the past 10 years. Every so often I will update the link with articles I've written about both the writing process and the business. Hope you find them interesting and helpful.

Welcome Friends

The majestic Colorado Mountains have always been a very special place for me. They are serene, breathtakingly beautiful, and soul restoring. A refuge from reality.

Reality is all too often fraught with remarkable achievements and tragedies. Our existence is filled with imperfections and messes people make of their lives while racing through time in the instinctive pursuit of happiness. It’s an intriguing journey I love to explore.

I love writing about families, mistakes, and forgiveness. Redemption is a key theme in my books. People are flawed and we make mistakes, but it's the way we learn from out missteps and atone to become better human beings that fascinates me. Hopefully it will fascinate you too.
